Then one day, my boyfriend at the time (husband now) told me he had orders to move to Germany and asked if I’d go too. Not able to resist a man in uniform, I said yes.
We lived and worked overseas with the Army for three years. Then we moved again and again and again. Five times in eight years to be exact. (But who’s counting?!)
As a result, my career took a weird turn. I basically accepted any job that kind of, sort of meshed with my passion for events and campaigns. So, I found myself in roles like marketer, copywriter, and designer. While not exactly what I wanted to be doing, it taught me the tricks of the trade, and I got to see a lot of what was working online and what was not.
At one point, I even co-founded a nonprofit campaign that gave me a creative outlet for strategic thinking. It’s here that I saw the power of online marketing and how essential it is to grow a business. In fact, the first online event I coordinated grew our e-newsletter from less than 100 people to more than 2,000!
I was hooked. I quit my 9 to 5 and launched a freelance business as a marketing specialist. But over time, I noticed that the jobs I enjoyed most were the ones helping hardworking and driven mompreneurs, like me, bring their ideas to life. And that’s how Michele Bradfield Events and Campaigns was born.
Today, most of my clients reach out because they have a product or service that needs launched but don’t know where to start. Others have brilliant ideas but lacked the digital skills to execute them. And, that’s where I come in to provide a helping hand.
Essentially, though, I love working with anyone who’s ready to build their biz by daring to dream of a better life for themselves and their family.
